Japan-a place we always want to go back to (Zoukie Suki)

We just LOVE this city, all the students, food, culture, etc...
All the students here are so concentrated and so addicted to RioZouk, all the workshop is full of eager people. We're enjoy so much the chance to teach students like all of you; full of passion, laughter, joyful etc...YOU ARE ALL AMAZING !!!!!!! Special thanks to Simon Williams, he let all the Zouk lovers in Japan know about our visit and our workshops. Even though he is very busy (trust me, you have no idea how busy he is! we are ever so grateful for his time!)
Also we thank DJ Shigeaki. Without you, our videos and photos would not be as beautiful as now. Your range of skills is inspiring; "Tourist guide"+"Camera man"+"Video Man"+"DJ", You made our Zouk tour so much more "fruitful". And we were also happy to see your improvement.

Vietnam - a place where's full of excitement

The most memorable part for me is the roads full of motorcycles, I never could cross the street by myself hahahaha
Besides this, I like the attitude of the students here. Still remember after one of our demo dances, a student asked "I can see the leading and following techniques are different, so can it also improve other type of dance?" I know we have already answered this but I still want to say reiterate; YES, and all the other partner dances as well. So, keep on Zouk Zouk Zouking ^^
Here, a special thanks to Urko for arranging this workshop with XSalsa for us. And Julio: thank you for showing us around and sharing your life experiences with us, I definitely learned a lot.

Hong Kong - what can I say!?
|
|
Hong Kong is the place where it all started for me. All credit to the greats spirits in this place! In terms of Zouk, from zero to now, the people I need to give a huge credit to are Joseph Ennin, Franky Wong and Eddis Tang. When no one was dancing Zouk and even people didn't know what is Zouk, these great spirits of the dance are the one who trusted in me and gave me the opportunity to perform in the Salsa venue that they had developed. And specially for Joseph Ennin who gave me a chance to host the first ever Zouk venue (Makumba) in HK, gave me a chance to teach and perform at the HK Salsa Festival's 10th anniversary and now a regular Zouk introduction lessons every week in his popular Salsa venue "Shake Shake". Joseph I do really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The reason RioZouk started to drive HK people crazy in love with it is also because of the most important peson in my journey to this point, Marcos Fonseca (The Sultan of Zouk). ,After Marcos arrived, we partnered up and he began to teach with me, I matured dramatically as an instructor and became better day by day as he taught me the roots of RioZouk.
Now that RioZouk in HK is becoming more and more of a hit, I can see that HK people accept everything really fast. Since 2009, the demand has grown from 1 hour lesson per week to 6 hours per week which is proving to not be enough since students numbers continue increasing. In the beginning one venue would only play 1-2 Zouk music tracks per evening. Now most of the venues will play a lot of Zouk music depending on the crowd. For this, I also want to thank you Dj Eric SalsaGodfather for playing more and more Zouk music in the venues to support the development of the Zouk scene..
As for our students, I love you all, Wthout all of you, no matter what I could try, it wouldnt happen. So, YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN HONKER ^^
Finally I want to share something that gives me more drive and power to make RioZouk widely successful. A certain skeptical person told me "If Zouk can happen in Hong Kong, I'll become a belly dancer."! This has helped to keep me focused and willing to make sacrifices! haha! Its almost time for your dance! You know who you are! Many special thanks for the inspiration!

After Marcos Came from , Sweden, Spain, and Other cities in Europe he went to Egypt, Dubai and Oman, spread his RioZouk style and He finally started his successful Asia tour in KL one the most live cities in the world, according to him the people are really talented and passionate for Zouk, he said the people are adorable really catch attention in any single comment which is really pleasanter for any teacher who likes to teach as Marcos do it, and the dance night as well as the city at night from KL are really romantic.

Macao - something beside of casino

Frankly say. Talk about Macao, the only image in my brain was "China's Las Vagas". I WAS SO WRONG!!! Thank you for Hannah Nicol, Annie and "Yoga World" owner Michael Kyprianou. Now I know peoples in Macao not only watch other peoples dancing, they love to dance as well. We've been taught for 4 weeks and 3 hrs every Sat night on May 2011, I can say I'm exhausted every time after classes as I also need to teach in HK from morning at the same day. So after the HK classes, rush to Macao and rush back to HK again as also got early classes the day after. But because of the energy from all the students, I forgot about tried, in fact is "I WANT TO TEACH EVERYTHING TO ALL OF YOU!!!" There's one person I really feel impressive to him "Ulrich Scheller", he's not from HK and Macao. He's from......Germany and now stay in Dubai. He suddenly appear on one of our lesson after he taked our lessons in HK and also wrote this comment on Facebook (I fell in love with Zouk in Dubai, most of my friends know about that. Last week I met Emily and Marcos in Hongkong and as Emily puts it , I don't want to think of any way back. Look at this and see for yourselves. I love it!) Man.............you are amazing.
All the students in the classes is so concentrate, and always ask some question that surprise me about how much attention they are. I hope go over again and again, because it make me feel like there's a little family there.
Keep this sprite up all my friends, we will come over in the future!!!
